But unlike other aero helmets on the market MET decided to put safety at the forefront of the design of the Manta MIPS. The MIPS integrated system in the Mantra helmet works by allowing the internal MIPS cage to rotate 10-15mm in any direction, this helps to redirect potentially harmful rotational energy away from your brain in the event of a crash. MET’s signature NACA ventilation ports pull air through the helmet and out the back, all while not affecting the Manta’s overall aerodynamics. When it comes to aerodynamics we can be certain in saying that the Manta is one of the fastest helmets on the planet, MET even has the test results from their NEWTON laboratory in Milan to back it up. The inclusion of the SAFE-T ORBITAL fit system ensures you’ll have a perfect fit every time you put the helmet on. Other features like dedicated sunglasses ports and a magnetic Fidlock buckle round off this truly top of the line helmet.
