MET has been at the top of the cycling helmet game for over 30 years. It’s clear that they’ve condensed all of their knowledge and design prowess into the MET Rivale MIPS. It features long and wide ventilation ports which not only improve airflow but also improve aerodynamics. These ports paired with a singular MET NACA vent provide excellent aerodynamics without affecting airflow. The sleek exterior not only looks great but is also optimized to provide excellent protection in the event of a crash. On the inside of the Rivale, we’ve got MIPS brain protection technology which helps to redistribute impact forces away from your head in the event of a crash. All of these terrific features and streamlined design wouldn’t mean anything without a comfortable interior. Fortunately, MET has integrated its Safe-T Upsilon fit system into the Rivale, this allows for a perfect fit without any pressure points. An integrated sunglasses docking port allows you to easily store your sunglasses when they’re not in use. Simply put, the new Rivale MIPS is incredibly safe, fast, comfortable, and it looks pretty darn good as well.
