The Marin San Quentin was developed hand in hand with freeride legend Matt Jones and it takes its name from the most rough-and-tumble piece of Marin County, San Quentin Prison. The new all-mountain hardtail blends the strength and style of Marin’s Alcatraz dirt jump bike with the trail-oriented spirit of the Nail Trail hardtail. The San Quentin is an aggressive trail hardtail that is perfect for the modern mountain biker.
The San Quentin 2 is an incredible bike coming in at a great price. A Rock Shox Recon RL 130mm fork provides a supple and smooth ride, the SRAM NX 1x11 drivetrain provides all the gears you need to make it up the steepest climbs, and Tektro hydraulic disc brakes provide incredible stopping power when descending those steep chutes. The bike is rounded out with Marin Tubeless Ready wheels for less flats and incredible traction.
If you are looking for an aggressive trail hardtail that can handle anything the trail throws at it, the Marin San Quentin needs to be your next bike. From steep dirt jumps to fast single track and rocky chutes, the San Quentin was designed to handle it all. Push your riding further and attack the trail with more confidence than ever before.
