The Z1 has returned and is better than ever. The original Z1 sparked the freeride revolution with its long travel and ultra-plush action, it unapologetically prioritized grip and ride quality over just about everything else. The return of Z1 brings back these same priorities in a 36mm chassis with a super plush air spring and proven FIT GRIP damper. The EVOL air spring increases negative air spring volume to provide the ultimate in small bump sensitivity. The FIT GRIP damper is a robust closed cartridge style damper with the ability to recirculate and purge a proprietary bath fluid to maintain consistent cartridge fill and damping performance over time. The Sweep lever adjustment is a combined LSC/HSC compression adjustment that ranges from open to lockout. 36mm stanchions keep things stiff and ensure the Z1 is up to the task of hardcore enduro riding and freeride.

For 2025, Fox has come out swinging with an all-new lineup of forks and dampers. The new Grip X2, Grip X and Grip SL are replacing the outgoing Grip 2, Grip and Fit4 dampers which have provided amazing performance in Fox forks for years.
