Mountain biking is all about exploring new trails and seeing sights you would never be able to see from the road. With a trail bike, you'll be able to efficiently climb hills and descend down steep and technical terrain. The Niner Jet 9 RDO 2-Star Bike brings cross-country efficiency to trail bike versatility. It blends the best characteristics together for an ultimate trail bike. The RDO carbon fiber frame uses 120mm of travel on the rear and 130mm of travel on the front. The frame features full sleeve cable guides for easy cable installation, CVA suspension that is supple yet stable, and one bottle mount.
The 2-Star version of the Niner Jet 9 RDO comes with a SRAM SX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain. This includes a cassette that has a hill-crushing 11-50T gear range that makes climbing and pedaling through rough terrain a breeze. The SRAM Level hydraulic disc brakes provide confidence-inspiring stopping power so you can descend under control. Niner Alloy wheels are paired with Schwalbe tires that can be set up tubeless for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats. With the KS LEV Si dropper post, you'll be able to quickly lift and lower your saddle with the press of a lever.

So, we headed out to the trail, threw a leg over this new rig and checked out some of the changes and improvements Ibis has made to the new Alloy Ripley.
