Modern XC bikes are becoming more capable than ever. Long gone are the days of XC bikes that could only climb and sprint. These bikes are now able to tackle tough terrain and fast descents with ease. The Orbea Oiz M-Team AXS Bike isn't down-country or trail, it's a 120mm XC race machine that looks as good as it rides. It has modern geometry and clever suspension, designed from the start around 120mm. The OMX carbon frame uses an I-Line shock system that is the most integrated shock lock-out on the market. The SIC system routes the cables along the best path through the headset, through internal guides, and invisibly from the front to the rear with Cable Pass. The frame also features Boost hub spacing, a BSA threaded bottom bracket, and an integrated chainstay protector to prevent chain slap.

The M-Team AXS version of the Orbea Oiz comes with a SRAM X0 Eagle AXS 12-speed drivetrain. An ultra-wide 10-52T cassette on the rear makes climbing and pedaling through demanding conditions a breeze. SRAM Level Silver hydraulic disc brakes provide exceptional stopping power and modulation so you can descend under control. OQUO Mountain Performance MP30TEAM wheels are paired with Maxxis Rekon Race Tires that can be set up tubeless for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats. With the OC Mountain Control DP-MP10 Dropper Post, you'll be able to quickly lift and lower your saddle for more efficient climbing and safer descending.

Pivot Cycles Demo Day February 15, 2025

Demo event will run 8 am to 4 pm

Bikes will be released for demo from 9 am until 2 pm, last riders to return before 4pm.

This Bike Might Change the Way You Look at E-bikes: Orbea Rise V1 Long-term Review!

We get a lot of questions about e-bikes, especially the Orbea Rise, so we figured we’d throw up a quick long-term review of one from one of the employees here at Jenson, Alex. Alex lives up in the mountains here in Southern California and has to do a fair bit of climbing and pedaling around at his local trail system to get to trails. Because he is in such high elevation, oxygen levels are different and make it a bit more difficult to breathe.
