POC Octal X Spin (CPSC) Helmet
Borrowing technology and design the from the Poc Octal road helmet, the POC Octal X Helmet has been developed to suit the needs of XC mountain biking. It carries over the same features we love from the road helmet, like extreme ventilation and low weight, along with having a unibody shell construction and aerodynamic efficiency. The biggest change is the added robustness and protection to suit the needs of cross country riding. One of the biggest features is the extended helmet shell, which covers the helmet liner to provide enhanced strength with barely any increase in weight.
This version of the Poc Octal X features Poc’s new SPIN pads, which have been developed to reduce the impact of oblique falls by shearing in any direction. By doing so they enhance protection by allowing the helmet to move relative to the head upon impact.
