The weather outside can often be deceptive when you’re planning for a longer ride. Going with the tried and true jersey and vest setup is often your best option. You can start in the morning with a vest and as the temperature starts to rise switch to just a jersey. In order for this to work you need a vest that offers plenty of wind blocking and warmth as well as a design that’s easily packable and low profile. Fortunately, Poc has thought of everything with the Pro Thermal Vest. It’s engineered to provide an incredible level of warmth that’s not common with most vests. The insulated layer traps heat while the highly efficient octagonal yarn fibers wick away moisture and keep you dry as the temperature starts to rise. A streamlined design allows the Pro Thermal Vest to be easily stored in a jersey pocket. The DWR treatment will keep you dry if it starts to drizzle or sprinkle. Zippered pockets allow for easily accessible storage for snacks, tools, or your phone.
