Helmets are often an overlooked piece of one's kit. They’re often heavy, bulky, and have poor ventilation, which can negatively impact your riding experience. Enter the POC Ventral LIte, this helmet is as top of the line as you can get. With its insanely lightweight sub-270g (for all sizes) design you’ll forget that you’re even wearing a helmet. In order to achieve the lowest helmet weight POC has ever produced they had to go back to the drawing board for the Ventral Lite. They ended up with a classic POC design but with everything scaled back to reduce weight without compromising safety or protection. POC even went as far as to adjust and optimize the straps and liner in order to achieve the lowest weight possible. Even the EPS foam density was modified in order to reduce the overall helmet weight. Add in massive ventilation ports to keep you cool as a cucumber as you hammer up your local climb and you’ve got yourself the ultimate cycling helmet.
