Park Tool SAC-2 SuperGrip Compound

When installing a carbon fiber seatpost in a frame, or tightening a stem onto a set of smooth-finish handlebars, a grip compound is essential to prevent slippage and creaking. The Park Tool SAC-2 SuperGrip Compound is an expertly-formulated grip compound that takes the creak out of all types of situations. The magic of the SAC-2 SuperGirp Compound is the silica-based formulation, which increases surface grip without the need of of overtorquing delicate carbon, aluminum, or steel components. In addition to increasing grip, this compound also provides an essential protective barrier on the surface.

- Creates increased grip on surfaces to prevent slipping and is ideal for use on handlebar clamps, carbon seatposts, and stems
- Forms a protective barrier between materials in addition to adding friction
- Note SAC-2 contains hard silica which can cause cosmetic scratches or blemishes on delicate finishes, and is not to be used as a bearing lubricant or on threads
