A Low Profile Design
The bulk and restriction that comes with wearing protective guards are enough to make many downhillers contemplate going commando (no pads) on the next run. POC's Joint VPD AIR Elbow Guards take this issue by the horns, offering a low profile design that employs a lightweight, impact-absorbing VPD (VISCO-ELASTIC POLYMER DOUGH) compound. This allows the AIR Elbow Guard's to mold to the body's contours and transition from soft to hard during impact, so trying to decide between comfort and safety is a decision of the past. The reinforced stretch fabric and neoprene anti-slip on the inside do wonders to keep the elbow guard secured in place and ready to take a hit.
