Santa Cruz’s Reserve 22 rims take cues from the wheel choices of racers who embark on some of the toughest courses, Roubaix, Flanders, E3. For these races, durability and strength can often take precedent over weight or speed, surviving the race is key. With that in mind, Reserve turned to the humble box-section aluminum rim and sought to take key features from it and incorporate it into their 700c gravel wheels, resulting in the best of classic design paired with the latest in rim technology. The Reserve 22 rims feature a wide 22mm internal rim width, making the rims ideal for modern gravel tires. With the rims weighing in at a shockingly light 358g you’ll be able to easily accelerate and dance up the steepest of climbs. Reserve’s choice of a box section rim design paired with their carbon fiber expertise has resulted in the Reserve 22 rims being exceptionally strong. Reserve are so confident in their rim design that they even offer a true lifetime warranty with a no questions asked replacement policy. For this Reserve 22 wheelset, Reserve went with the fantastic I9 Torch hub. The Torch hub delivers incredible performance with a rapid 120 points of engagement and is manufactured right here in the US at Industry Nine’s Asheville, NC facility.
