The Reserve 28 wheels are engineered to be the ultimate cross country wheels designed to handle the rigours of UCI racing. Built around the ultra lightweight 385g Reserve 28 rims, the wheelset keeps rotational weight to an absolute minimum, which translates to lightning fast acceleration. Not only is the all new Reserve 28 rim incredibly light, but the carbon layup has also been designed to be vertically compliant as well. This vertically compliant design both increases traction and helps to smooth out rougher sections. The 28 internal rim width is perfect for supporting the widths of modern cross country tires. Reserve Wheels are so confident in the construction and durability of their rims that they offer a true no questions asked lifetime warranty, simply put, if you manage to break them, Reserve Wheels will replace them for free. This Reserve 28 wheelset features DT Swiss’s 350 hubs which are built around a dead simple ratchet system, long lasting bearings, and an upgradeable ratchet engagement. DT Swiss 350 hubs essentially offer most of the same features and the same reliability as the other DT Swiss hubs but with a weight penalty and a significantly lower price.
