Ritchey Classic 2-Bolt Alloy Seatpost
As its name suggests the Classic Seatpost features Ritchey's "Classic" hi-polish silver finish as seen on our favorite vintage bikes. The not-so-classic 3D Forged 2014 construction and 2-bolt design finds a perfect medium between strength, weight and adjustability, while providing vise like hold. The low profile clamp disperses stress on lightweight rails such as those made from carbon, yet the bolts are aligned with the rails for the greatest contact area with the saddle.

Great product solid price
Great product solid price. I wanted a nice looking classic Seat post for my steel bike. I also needed to have a good amount of setback which this post. I don't think there's a better choice for the money

Ritchey seat post, so sexy.
Although each day felt like an eternity in my longing for this sweet, sexy seat post to arrive on my front stoop and each click and re-click of the tracking number, worrying more and more...would she arrive as stated by her handlers? would she find her way to me? YES! YES! On Time and as advertised. Me and my bike are complete again.

just ok.
It is a decent post, but this style of Ritchey post does not have serrations on the mating surfaces in the clamp. As a result unless you absolutely squeeze the hell out of this thing with the bolts, you may get slippage when you bounce a bit toward either end.

Seatpost
I'm a committed Campi fan, but after years of constantly adjusting my Course seat post I switched it for the Ritchey Classic: once installed I've never had to re-adjust. Enough said.
