Rockshox 2013 Reba/SID Spring 26"

Compared to coil sprung suspension, air suspension has a more progressive curve which can also be made even more progressive with the additional of volume reducing spacers. The volume spacers limit the size of the air chamber which causes the fork to ramp up quicker throughout its travel. Changing the air spring on your fork is also a great opportunity to change the travel of your fork if you wish to do that, just make sure your frame is compatible with whatever fork travel you desire.
