Saris Door County Hitch Mount Rack
An E-bike specialty hitch rack filled to the brim with features. The Saris Door County Hitch Mount Rack is a full service, electrically powered and assisted hitch rack designed to make transporting two E-bikes easier. With the press of a button, the rack can lower down to the ground, eliminating the need for having to lift the heavy E-bikes onto the rack. The two “lobster claw” stability arms hold the bikes by the frame, using a rubber-padded, ratcheting clamp for a secure hold. Integrated rubber ratcheting straps on the front and rear wheels add additional stability and the wheels trays can accommodate bike tires up to three-inches-wide and up to 48-inch wheelbases. A built-in tilting feature can fold the bikes down and away from the car, allowing access to the rear of the vehicle. Although the electrical assist may make this rack a bit heavier than other hitch racks, the Door County includes integrated roller wheels on the bottom of the rack for easier transport when installing or removing the rack. Finally, an integrated security system locks the bikes to the rack and the rack to the car for enhanced theft prevention.
