Raising The Bar
Using their top-level biomechanical research data and engineering, Specialized left nothing on the table when designing the S-Works Torch—a race-ready road shoe designed with your body and your performance in mind. To achieve this level of comfort and efficiency, Specialized introduced several revolutionary design elements. The placement of the BOA® retention system is optimized for reduced pressure, a reinforced upper with adaptive fit zones was introduced and an “I-Beam” structure in the sole adds stiffness at a reduced weight. The result is a lighter, stiffer and more comfortable shoe, informed by RETÜL fit scans and Body Geometry technology. Because comfort means speed, and anything less wouldn’t be worthy of bearing the S-Works name.

- Two alloy BOA® S3 Snap Fit Dials with optimized cable routing, for durable lightweight, effortless adjustment without hotspots
- Adaptive fit zones with a reinforced upper creates a shoe that fits like a glove
- Design is informed by Retül foot scans and biomechanical data for the pinnacle of comfort and efficiency
- Asymmetric heel cup to properly align the knee and properly accommodate the achilles
- Body Geometry technology including the varus wedge, longitudinal arch and metatarsal button to increase comfort and performance
- Carbon sole is 20g lighter than S-Works 7 all without sacrificing stiffness
- Updated last which slopes towards the lateral side for improved fit
- Replaceable non-slip heel tread for improved longevity
