Women’s Cycling Jerseys

A cycling jersey is a technical piece of apparel, and the key to finding one you love is to have that perfect balance between function and form. You want one that fits perfectly, feels great against your skin, and has just the right style. Nail those three factors, and you’ll have extra motivation to ride. We carry an extensive line of women’s cycling jerseys for all different types of riding from top brands like Castelli, Fox Apparel, Pearl Izumi, Mavic, Giro and Shebeest.

Our women’s cycling jerseys are roughly categorized into road or MTB styles, but many can be used for various riding styles and activities. It’s all a matter of personal taste. Road jerseys come in various fits and fabrics—from tanks to short-sleeves to long-sleeve options for cooler weather. Most are designed with moisture-wicking fabrics to help regulate body temperature, keeping you cool, dry and comfortable no matter how hard you push it on steep climbs. You can choose from a variety of technical fabrics, or wool-based natural materials such as Merino. Some jerseys also feature materials that protect you from harmful sun rays, and many have specially designed rear pockets to carry ride essentials like your phone, food and extra clothes.

One of the most critical factors with a road jersey is fit. Most are designed for a close fit to prevent wind flap. If you prefer something that’s not skin-tight, look for jerseys with a “casual” or “club” fit. Also pay attention to the hem. You want the jersey to fit correctly when you’re in the riding position, which makes it different from a normal top. An extended tail helps cover your lower back when riding. Most have an elastic hem with some sort of grippers on the inside to keep the jersey in place and prevent wind from blowing up it.

Mountain bike jerseys are often designed to pair with baggy shorts, and they typically have a looser fit. Consider whether you ride with a hydration pack, in which case you might not want or need rear pockets. Or, if you don’t use a hydration pack, you might want zippered pockets to secure keys or other valuable items while out on the trail.
