One of the most loved trail bikes in the world just got a major facelift. Santa Cruz took the Hightower frame and incorporated the low-pivot suspension design that is now present in much of the companies full-suspension lineup. The low-pivot design provides feather-light small bump sensitivity, mid-stroke support, and a perfect progression curve. The Hightower has become one of the most capable 29” trail bikes while retaining is fun playful nature and goat-like climbing abilities. The steep seat tube angle allows you to climb with ease, and the new linkage allows you to glide down every descent. With 140mm of travel, the new Hightower finds the perfect balance between agility, stability, and performance.

As with all Santa Cruz bikes, every Hightower model features a great list of components for the price. The Hightower AL-S comes with a RockShox Lyrik Select+ fork and Rock Shox Super Deluxe Select+ rear shock which provide a smooth and supple ride, the SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain provides all the gears you need to make it up the steepest climbs, and SRAM Code R brakes provide incredible stopping power when it comes time to slow down or stop. The Race Face AR wheels wrapped in Maxxis rubber supply the traction and confidence needed to mash through rock gardens and rail high speed corners. 

If you are looking for a bike that is a true all-around’er, the Santa Cruz Hightower needs to be your next bike.
