If you want a bike that does everything exceptionally well, then you'll want to get a trail or all-mountain bike. These bikes have longer travel than a cross-country bike but can climb better than an enduro bike. The Santa Cruz Hightower AL XT Jenson Exclusive Bike is essentially the greatest hits from Santa Cruz all rolled into one bike. It has an aluminum frame that uses 160mm of travel on the front and 145mm of travel on the rear. The frame features VPP suspension that provides excellent ride quality, a threaded bottom bracket, internal cable routing, integrated frame protection, a flip-chip for a high and low geometry setting, and clearance for up to 29x2.4" or 27.5x2.8" tires.
This Jenson Exclusive Build of the Santa Cruz Hightower AL comes with a Shimano XT M8100 12-speed drivetrain. This includes a cassette with a hill-crushing 10-51T gear range that makes climbing and pedaling through rough patches much easier. Shimano XT M8120 hydraulic disc brakes provide superior stopping power so you can descend under control. E*Thirteen TRS Alloy rims are paired with Maxxis Minion tires that can be set up tubeless for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats. With the OneUp Dropper Post V2, you'll be able to quickly lift and lower your saddle with the press of a lever.
