The Schwalbe Nobby Nic is the ideal all-purpose tire and has been a long-time favorite among trail riders with a need for speed. Perfect for aggressive XC courses but also right at home on an Enduro course, the Schwalbe Nobby Nic features a widely-spaced tall knob pattern to provide plenty of grip while maintaining relatively low rolling resistance. Built around the lightweight and flexible Racing Ralph casing, the Schwalbe Nobby Nic features a more aggressive tread pattern for better traction on fast and loose terrain. Now available in a plus size, this tire will comlement the fast growing new market of adventure and plus sized bikes as well.

Only (1) ride on these so far. Overall a little slower rolling than my alternate wheel/tire combo 29r with specialized purgatory/ground control.
Bike let more playful with the 27.5 + tires and essentially rendered wet roots on technical western Washington xc trails irrelevant. The Nobby Nics feel like they have reasonable stiff sidewalls which made setting them up tubelsss a bit of a challenge on 30mm internal rims.

Woohoo! Best front tire on the planet (2.6 tl) lightweight. And a very trustworthy tire. Don't let the weight scare you, it's pretty light lol! I race pro enduro in so Cal and have absolutely bashed this thing through rocks/switchbacks/pavers at 18psi via digital tire pressure Guage. Haven't tried it on the rear but I'd assume it's excellent. Been racing with it for 3 months, no noticeable wear (really? How?)
Warranty is a little lacking... But great tire over all!
The nobby nic has been around for a long time. This tire is tried in true. However, I recently bought a new set and one of the tires I received, had a bulge in the side wall, "new" from the factory. Since I had already installed my new tires prior to noticing, my warranty claim was denied. (My fault... Lesson learned!) Other than that, my experience with these tires have been very positive. If you take time to find the right air pressure... There isn't much that these 2.6" babies can't handle.
