The benchmark for road bike components was set long ago. It was set by Shimano and their Dura-Ace group of components. A group set that has been raced on and proven many, many times over. Yet, they still find improvements and tweaks to keep inching that benchmark further and further towards perfection. The Dura-Ace 9100 Crankset has been redesigned specifically for modern race bikes that are using disc brakes and shorter chainstays. They provide the necessary chainstay clearance without increasing Q-Factor. Stiffer, stronger, 7 grams lighter and perfect for today's modern race bike.
