When a high level of braking control and quiet operation are critical to the ride, the G05S-RX Disc Brake Pads are designed to provide exceptional modulation, with quiet, smooth, and controllable braking. The G05S-RX pads are the correct fit for various Shimano MTB, urban, and cyclocross two-piston brake calipers (see complete list below), and feature a corrosion-resistant stainless steel backing plate with easily-modulated resin pads. The G05S-RX brake pads boast Shimano’s 5th generation resin pad compound, this compound offers 50% better wear resistance than the previous G03S, and 110% better than G02S brake pads. This resin compound helps to reduce noise and provide better modulation than metallic pads, while maintaining above-average stopping power. For quiet, powerful braking, look no further than the Shimano G05S-RX brake pads.
