Smooth and precise shifting starts at the shifter, so you want to make sure the one you have is solid. The mew SLX SL-M7100 shifter comes in two different configurations with either I-Spec EV which connects directly to new newest generation of Shimano brakes or the standard handlebar clamp which can still be used with Shimano brakes, along with any other brake system you might have on your bike. Features like Rapidfire Plus, allow you to smoothly shift through multiple gears at once to quickly find the perfect gear. If you are looking to upgrade your bike to Shimano’s new 12-speed drivetrain, a new 12-speed shifter is a key feature you will need. If you are looking to not empty your wallet but still want amazing performance, the SLX shifter is for you.
