SHIMANO XTR-DI2 MOUNTAIN BIKE PARTS
Just when you think that XTR couldn’t get any better, Shimano unleashes XTR Di2. XTR Di2 is an electronic shifting option for Shimano’s 11-speed XTR M9000 mechanical mountain bike components. It redefines how mountain bikers can control and personalize the way they ride through the proven Di2 digital platform.
Shimano originally released the “Digital Integrated Intelligence” (or Di2 for short) platform back in 2009 on their flagship Dura-Ace line of road bike components. Electronic shifting brought forth a precision that could only be dreamed of before. This kind of precision appeals to the rider that is in search of the most advanced mountain bike components to date. Shimano is inspired by the versatility and capability of today’s riders and the terrain they tackle, XTR Di2 offers refined and tested solutions engineered for the way they ride. From brakes to wheels, shifters and derailleurs, Shimano XTR offers a full component line so you can build your complete dream bike with the best components available.
With XTR Di2 you can expect nothing short of exceptional shifting. The shifter is extremely simple to operate. Each click of the shifter quickly moves the derailleur into the next gear, a long full press of the shifter moves the derailleur by two shift up or down. If you keep your thumb pressed down on the shifter you can make the derailleur perform non-stop shifts from top to bottom or vice versa. This comes in especially handy when you have to reach for a handful of gears to make it up steep climb. The on-board display unit shows vital information, such as gear selection, modes and battery life. Performing adjustments is easier than ever. A quick press of the button on the side of the display allows you make micro adjustments to the rear derailleur. The front derailleur will sync itself up with the rear derailleur and doesn’t require any manual adjustment. Now that is convenient.
Shimano proves that XTR Di2 is not just for racers and gram counters. With its perfect shifting and smooth drivetrain XTR Di2 is truly a versatile system that will allow riders to experience the best Shimano has to offer. From XC to trail and all-mountain riding, XTR Di2 is your ticket to mountain bike bliss.
