Shimano XTR series components appeal to the rider that is in search of the most advanced mountain bike components and wheels to date. Hubs are important when it comes to how smoothly a wheel rolls. The Shimano XTR HB-M9110 Front Hub is apart of Shimano's newest generation of XTR components. It is compatible with center lock rotors and has a 15 x 110mm hub spacing. At 134g, this will be your favorite part of your dream wheelset.

DT Swiss has released a new high engagement hub for trail and gravity riders.The new DEG hub still utilizes DT Swiss' ratchet system, but the ratchet itself is almost twice as big as the current ratchet in order to match the large hub shell of the new hub. The max number of teeth available used to be 54, but the new DEG ratchet has grown to 90 teeth, which provides 4º of engagement angle, greatly reducing the play between engagement points.
