A new Shadow design optimizes the slant angle, lowering shift effort while improving shifting and driving stability. For this generation of the XTR rear derailleur Shimano updated the design and brought the pulley father forward, resulting in more chain wrap and better chain tension throughout the gearing range. This versatile design is compatible with 1x, 2x, and 3x drivetrains, maximizing your drivetrain potential and giving you the power of choice.
