RIDING OFF THE GRID
When you're riding on the dirt, the type of tires you have underneath you have a significant impact on your performance. When it comes to aggressive trail riding, you're going to want aggressive tires. The Specialized Butcher Grid Trail 27.5" Tire is receiving an entirely new tread pattern with wider shoulder knobs that provide better support load under hard cornering and center blocks that have been staggered and spaced better for a smoother transition when leaning the bike over. The tire is made with the Specialized Gripton compound that improves high-frequency damping, which means the tire will stick to the ground better on both small bumps and rough sections. The Grid Trail casing is stiffer, delivering better handling at lower pressures and increases pinch flat protection by 15% and puncture protection by 30%.
