Road shoes are known to lack in the comfort department thanks to the materials being used, which make them stiff and uncomfortable. Specialized decided to address that annoyance head on with the Specialized Torch 2.0 Wide Road Shoes by implementing a 100% mesh TPU upper construction, which allows for more wiggle room in the toe box along with a less constrictive, sock like feel. The upper is then paired with a medium-stiffness FACT carbon sole and a rubber heel-and-toe that provides the ideal traction off the bike. The closure system is provided by a single lightweight Boa® IP1 dial that features tool-free snap replacement capability, while also providing simple, on-the-fly micro-adjustments.
