Stan's NoTubes 32 Ounce Tire Sealant

Stan’s NoTubes Tire Sealant

Stan’s No Tubes tire sealant is a must for tubeless tire applications. This specially formulated liquid sealant coats the inside of your tires or tubes, preventing air loss through the rim/tire interface, and also seals many thorn and glass holes "on the fly". This system has been proven effective by pros and enthusiasts alike. Another big plus to going tubeless is reducing weight, as you’re able to run a lower tire pressure for better grip and lower rolling resistance. NOTE: a proper tubeless-ready tire paired with a compatible, prepared rim are required for a safe and reliable tubeless setup.

32oz (946ml) jug seals about 16 tires, one application lasts from 3 weeks to 3 months, depending on your local temperature and humidity conditions.

  • Works on Road, CX & Mountain tubeless systems
  • Can be used in tubes or inside tires for tubeless applications
  • Lasts between 3 weeks to 3 months depending on your weather conditions
  • Stops leaks and punctures up to 1/4".
  • Suitable for environments down to -20 degrees F (-28.8 degrees Celsius)
  • This is just one of many items needed to make a complete kit. Consult your rim and tire manufacturer to determine components needed for proper tubeless setup.
  • Stan’s Rim Tape, Rim Strips/Valves, & Tubeless Compatible tires are needed to create a complete Kit
  • Perfect for use in all styles of pneumatic tires including autos, wheelbarrow tires and strollers

Best sealant out there
I use this on all my mountain bikes. It will save you on many tire mishaps, but not with large cuts on the sidewall. Actually saved me on a race, got a puncture but kept enough air until the finish. Make sure you follow the directions, and can be tricky at first. Using compressed air or CO2 cartridges with help with installs.

Stans works great
Been using Stans for years. Always works well in sealing up small punctures and fighting the cactus needle war in Arizona.

I have been using...
I have been using Stan's for some time now, and it is the best system for converting wheels to tubeless. I am a heavier rider, but still ride at about 30lbs front, 32lbs rear, with excellent traction. This system will improve your bike's handling quite a bit.

Forget about thorns!
Tubeless is the only way to go. Before I ran tubes and had to steer clear of thorns and tumble weed to avoid pesky flats but with stans that's no longer a problem and highly recommend the tubeless setup. Easy to do and keep up.

What do I need to convert to tubeless?
A shopper on Dec 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Be careful to inspect your rims to be sure they are capable of being tubeless. They must have a "land" for the the bottom of the bead inside of the tire to seal against. The rim flange comes down to a 1/4 inch step. If the step is not there, it is not convertible. If the rim is convertible to tubeless. Buy Stans yellow tape and stans tubeless valves, and a bottle of stans sealant. Scrub the interior of the rim with either disc brake cleaner from an auto parts store or scrub it clean 2 or 3 times with alcohol. Cut a 1 inch of stans yellow tape to place over the valve hole and starting beyond the hole, streatch yellow tape around the interior of the rim trying to keep it as centered between the lands as you can Pull hard - don't be gentle. Tape over and beyond the valve hole by at least 2 inches. Now you have 3 layers of tape over the valve hole and all spoke holes covered. Poke a hole in the center of the tape at the valve hole with a sharp awl, punch, or needle. Push the tubeless valve through the needle hole, snug the nut on the valve (not too tight or it can pull through). Mount the tire with dish soap and water very generously swabbed on the tire bead. Pump it up - best with a compressor. You may have to remove the valve core from the valve to get enough volume to seat the bead. If it seats, let the air out, pop the bead loose all around the tire on one side and put two "red cup measures" into the bottom of the tire and pump it up again .Reinstall the valve core. Hold the entire wheel assembly horizontal to the floor and shake it vigorously. Turn it over and shake it to coat the other side. Put it on your bike and ride it soon afer the installation to help seal the assembly. Good luck
