The Xpresso 7 pedals are not only the most affordable way to access Time’s incredibly stiff carbon fiber pedal body but they’re also the only pedals in the Xpresso lineup that feature a carbon fiber body. The oversized carbon fiber platform is plenty lightweight and is a contributing factor to how Time was able to keep the individual pedal weight below 99 grams. A hollow steel axle saves weight without affecting the overall pedal durability. With the ICLIC engagement systems pre-opened design, clipping in is extremely easy. Throw in a three position carbon blade tension adjustment so you can dial in the tension to your preference and you’ve got one excellent pedal that offers an incredible amount of bang for buck value.< /p>
