Best coverage - and Mips
deepest coverage of any non-full face helmet I've owned. Super comfortable. Like a comfy couch on your melon. Not the coolest, but I ride in SoCal where summer morning rides are in the 80's, and my head doesn't bake in the heat. Recommend.

This helmet has a great fit. It has good coverage for the aggressive rider, with enough vents to keep you cool on the climbs. Stylish and safe, cant go wrong!

The perfect helmet
This helmet is the perfect fit helmet. True to size. Easy to adjust straps by ears and adjustment in back. Visor has been good on some evening rides going into the sun. Love the color options as well. Found the color that matched my pedals. Easy to remove liners and hand wash.

Great helmet! Great look!
Super comfortable and easy to adjust. A hiker on the trail even complimented me on the neon yellow helmet. Not sure how it holds up in a crash, luckily haha.

I still use my old helmet for night rides. TRD lacks in light mounting options. More adjustment on visor would be nice.. Over all fit and comfort is great!

Sweet helmet
Great helmet! Coming off a Fox Flux, where the tightening mechanism on the back broke and no parts could be located for repair. Construction is much better with 10-20% more coverage/protection, especially on the backside.

Fits like a glove
This helmet fits my head perfect. The construction seems to be well thought out with comfort in mind. It was simple to size to my head and it comes with plenty of ventilation to keep you cool. The colors are pretty sweet too. I would recommend just about anything from Troy Lee Designs to a friend so if you haven't had this brand before I would give it a go. Additionally, the MIPS design is becoming more popular for offroad riding; it's safer and worth the extra coverage.

IT FITS
For me my number one issue is finding a helmet that fits my gigantic noggin.....it's a 7 3/4. Well once dialed in it is a perfect fit and comfy too. I haven't tried it yet, but when it gets above freezing I'll go on a ride and hopefully I won't need it; if I crash, it should provide ample protection thanks to Mips.

Nice coverage
Great hemlet, pretty good material, nicecoverage.
I normally use large, but the medium/large size seemed to be a bit small. It fitted in the largest adjust of the stripes.

Is this helmet good for road and rail trail riding?
BEST ANSWER: It’s a great trail helmet. Light weight and great airflow. I suppose it would work fine for road riding but it’s not nearly as aerodynamic as the typical roadie helmet.

BEST ANSWER: I don’t think the Drone has the MIPS technology. MIPS make it a safer helmet. See following description: Multi-directional Impact Protection System, MIPS, is a technology that allows a helmet slide relative to the head, adding more protection against rotational violence to the brain caused by angled impacts. It was developed by biomechanical specialists at the Royal Institute of Technology, in Stockholm, Sweden.
