Replacing the venerable A1 from Troy Lee Designs’ lineup is no easy task, but the new Flowline Helmet is up to the challenge. The Flowline is something of a unicorn, as it offers even more high-performance features than the A1, but at a lower price. The new Flowline is a trail helmet for younger riders that is inspired by the pros and features a full wrap in-mold construction with extended back-of-the-head coverage. In addition to that coverage, an integrated MIPS® system helps to reduce rotational forces during certain types of impacts, for added peace of mind during a crash. For those extended climbs in hot weather, 14 high-flow vents drive a massive amount of air over the head, and a 2-way adjustable visor keeps you shaded when you need it, and gets out of the way when you don’t.
