The WTB Proterra Light i27 29” Wheel is the ideal wheel for riders who don’t let one category of riding define them. A trail rider who wants less weight and a more nimble ride? You got it. The Proterra Light i27 is a versatile, lightweight wheelset with a 27mm internal rim width, ideal for creating an ideal tire profile when using 2.3-2.5” width tires. WTB’s open cavity rim design shaves weight for a light, snappy feel—with a three-cross spoke lacing pattern and alloy nipples to blance weight savings and long-term durability. When navigating rocky technical climbs, the 6-pawl Frequency Hub provides quick hub engagement, with smooth-rolling durability for the climbs yet to come.
