Wolf Tooth RoadLink

The Wolf Tooth RoadLink is the key to unlocking a plethora of additional gearing options for road, gravel, cyclocross, or commuter rigs. Many of us here at the shop have happily built up our own commuter and gravel bikes using mainly road parts with standard cross or road gearing. It isn't until we go on a lunch ride in undulating Sycamore Canyon with our mountain biker coworkers that we quickly wish we had a giant cassette like theirs. With the Wolf Tooth RoadLink, now we can!

The RoadLink is a simple device that offsets the position of your Shimano road derailleur to make it possible to run a wide-range mountain bike style cassette that also serves as the perfect solution for converting road, cross, gravel and commuter bikes to a single ring set up with minimal loss of gear range. Now imagine running a standard 10 or 11 speed road/cross double ring set up with an 11-36T or 11-40T cassette. It's safe to say you'll experience steep climbs in a way like never before.

• The RoadLink is compatible with ten- and eleven-speed Shimano road derailleurs and shifters.
• The RoadLink mounts only to standard derailleur hangers.
• Double chainrings are only supported with medium cage rear derailleurs
• Triple chainrings are not supported (medium cage rear derailleurs cannot accommodate that big of a change)
• Direct Mount-native frames and SRAM or Campagnolo drivetrains are not supported.
• Due to the lack of a clutch mechanism on Shimano road derailleurs, secondary chain retention (front derailleur or chain device) may be needed, especially for rough- or off-road use.
• Due to variations in derailleur hanger geometry, chainstay length, chainring size, B-screw adjustment, and suspension configuration, individual results will vary.
• This 7.9mm max dimension is controlled by the Shimano spec, but a few derailleur hangers don't meet the spec. You can file a bit of the bottom "tang" of those derailleur hangers to install the RoadLink
