Compare Shipping Methods

Jenson USA offers a variety of shipping methods to Brazil. (Please note that some shipping methods may not be available for all orders, based on weight/size).

  • USPS First Class International Mail - this shipping method is sent through the USA postal mail system and will be delivered by your letter carrier in Brazil. It is the least expensive shipping method. It is the least likely to attract duty and tax. It carries a delivery confirmation number, but not a tracking number, and is not trackable while in transit.
  • USPS Priority International Mail - this shipping method is also sent through the USA postal mail system and will be delivered by your letter carrier in Brazil. It is faster than First Class Mail, but slightly more expensive. There is a low likelihood of duty and tax. It carries a delivery confirmation number, but not a tracking number, and is not trackable while in transit.
  • UPS Worldwide - UPS is a worldwide courier service. UPS is often the most expensive method, but offers very fast delivery - a guaranteed time in transit of 5 business days, and often much faster. Because it is a commercial courier service, it is likely that duty and tax will be charged. UPS shipments carry a tracking number with real-time tracking to monitor the location of your shipment.

Frequently Asked Questions about shipping to Brazil

How much is the import duty or tax? Jenson USA cannot reliably predict what, if any, import duty or tax might be charged. The amount can vary wildly based on the items you select and the shipping carrier chosen. Often with postal mail shipments, there is no import duty or tax at all, but courier shipments are more likely to have import duty or tax. Consider speaking with other local cyclists for guidance about their prior experiences with duty/tax.

If import duty or tax is charged, who pays for it? Import duty and tax, if charged, is the responsibility of the recipient. Jenson USA will not pay import duty or tax charges on your behalf. Failure to pay import duty or tax charged by the government of Brazil will result in the loss of both the items and the funds used to purchase them.

My tracking number for a USPS shipment is not working. Why? Shipments sent via USPS are not trackable. They do carry a number, however, it is used by the postal service primarily for delivery confirmation purposes only and will not show the real-time location of your package while in transit. If you require real-time package tracking, consider UPS instead.
