Simple to install. Keeps the chain from falling in. Does little to stop the chain from jumping out.

like'd it. keeps the chain on even after some massive jumps and falls. i've used it for just over 6 months since my SS conversion. it has held up through some tough situations. i haven't had one problem.

Plastic case does not capture the steel band clamp, which causes it to slip off the band clamp when loaded. Wedge-style design of plastic finger causes it to jam the chain before breaking off. Case is too tall to fit most bikes as it interferes with the downtube unless some sanding is done.

I would not recommend this product. There look to be other types that do the same thing and a few bucks more expensive, that are probably more solid
