I use these on some decently technical trails i've crashed with them up in big bear a couple of times and they take allll the impact my arms didn't even feel sore afterwards. very comfy. easy to slip on and off. and they stay in place when you crash. and they are cheap! everythin you need. :)
i wear these when i ride my dj at the local pump/jump track. they never impare me from whipping my bike around and feel nice and comfy

These have been really comfortable on long rides. I'll do the entire fullerton loops with these on. So far the only discomfort that i have felt is a slight pinch on the inside of my right elbow. i tried switching that pad to my left and so far so good. foruntely i haven't crashed in them yet but from the feel they feel like they will definitely stay in place. I had an old pair of sette elbow guards and when i would crash in those they'd move slightly and they felt way cheaper than these.
