Not much to say other than if you're looking for an affordable floor pump with pressure gauge this is a great entry level pump for recreational riders and casual weekend warriors. I read the other reviews and some have complained of poor pumping action. One thing I did notice was small pieces of plastic and rubber in and around the hose and head. I cleaned out the pump hose and head and the performance of the pump increased 100%. If you put a little prep time into this pump it will yield great results. I keep this pump in the trunk of my car and use it constantly. I'm thinking about picking up a 2nd one just to have around.

My last avenir lasted many years, so I didn't hesitate to buy this. It broke on the first use. The pressure dial didn't work, then it started leaking air from a hole under the pressure guage. Between this pump and my old one, I was able to build one that does work though. I guess that's good.
I'd send it back, but return shipping and shipping for another pump would be more then the pump is worth.
Buy something else!

I ride a road bicycle with tires that need 100-115 psi pressure. Being a decently big guy, I still found it difficult to pump above 100 psi. Maybe I'm just weaker than I think.

It is a great little floor pump. The only design flaws for me are that the pump is a bit smaller/lower than other floor pumps that I've used. It isn't a high priority issue, but if you are over 6 feet, you might feel crouched over when using this pump.
An added bonus are the little inflation tools included in the pump handle. I know that most of us here are buying this to inflate bike tires, but it is nice to have the options included to inflate soccer balls, basketballs, or floatation toys for the kids.

I use this pump for my mountain bike, and anything over 30lbs is a chore. I use it as my warm up to my rode.

Great pump for the money but is very dificult to reach 100psi. I dont even think it can handle the 160psi the guage is rated to. Bottom line great for lower pressures but concider other pumps before you get this one if your using it for 100+ tires, or you will be doing alot of bouncing on this pump in order to get it up there.
