The Avid XX Disc Brake Caliper is now a two- pieced forged magnesium caliper which allows for superior stiffness and performance in a light- weight package. The brake lever is comprised of magnesium and the lever blades are carbon fiber. The oversized pistons give you more stopping power with less lever pull, for easy one- finger braking. The Avid XX disc brake features the braking power of the Elixir in a lighter package.

this brake setup is definatly worth it if you are looking to keep your weight down and have a solid brake that will work when you need it most. this brake is also for the most part mechanic friendly and easy to preform a brake bleed on.
