I put these levers on my singlspeed while converting to a bullhorn bar set-up. They work very well and are comfortable, lightweight and simple. Great for use with linear pull brakes.

JENSON, you've got the description for the Cross Top Levers on the Flat Top lever page. You obviously confused the previous reviewer into buying the wrong product. The levers are good, but you need to know their intended usage, which is cantilever or caliper brakes on 7/8" mountain bars.

Cane Creek makes great, affordable products. I purchased this to complete my single speed, cruise-around-town bike that uses Nitto road bar (24 mm diameter). These levers do NOT have hinged clamps, as described), and are sized to fit mountain bars. I attempted to pry the clamp area open enough to fit the road bars, but stopped because the clamping bolt was so far out of range that it doesn't align with the clamp's threaded body. I ended up purchasing Tektro 720 levers, which work fine.
