So far I only have about 200 miles on it but I am very pleased. It was quite a bit lighter than my old cassette, and it looks nicer too.

I've long preached running a full XT drivetrain, but I may have to go back to SRAM when buying a cassette. It seems that, to save weight, Shimano changed the spider to a four arm style vs. the old five arm. On my third ride with this cassette, the second cog folded over on itself under load. Being known as "The Bike Buster," I got a lot of heckling from my friends... but it turns out that this is a design flaw. If you're a strong rider who likes to put the hammer down on climbs, buy SRAM instead.

This is the best value in cassettes today! Easy to install, and use, positive shifting either up or down.

This cassette is awesome, it lasts forever, its jest hard to clean, but its lightweight and works as a cassette, that's all that matters ;)

Light weight and a great price, I've only used XT cassettes and won't change
I ride several times a week and have not had a single issue. great buy. Had the level below the XT version and it lasted me several years. So far the XT version has lived up to my expectations.
Good quality and crisp shifting make it an easy choice. Shimano chains seem to be less stretchy than SRAM and drivetrain is as quiet as my former SRAM 990 setup.
This cassette looks good, is lightweight and shifts great until you bend a sprocket or two. Trust me, you don't want the four-arm spider version of this cassette! Ride on.

Bad, no confidence anymore in shimano's XT cassette - you cant risk bad parts when racing. Get an older XT while you can.
