This chain was so easy to install. Seriously i had a harder time taking out the old chain than installing the new one.
I am on my second of these chains (I change my drivetrain every one to two years), and I have been very happy with them. Previously I had regularly used Sram PC8 series chains, and they worked fine, but then I decided to try this much less expensive KMC and won't be going back.
Note, however: the quicklink will not work with every combination. On the first bike I used this chain with the chain would "pop" when pedaling hard in the 11 tooth cog. Removing the quicklink solved the problem. On my current bike the quicklink has not been a problem, and it is a very convenient and secure design.
You can't beat the price, I've had no abnormal wear issues, and when I upgrade to 9-speed I intend to stick with KMC.
Nice package, but the chain should be in a plastic bag to prevent you to get all greasy when getting the chain out. quick link work well and easy to install. Nice finish and runs smooth.
Love this chain, excellent shifting, holds tight, I am 185 lbs. and I put a lot of stress on the chain climbing, and the chain has still remained in limits. I hope Jenson continues to carry this chain.
