I have used this chain for years for intermediate to advanced MTB rides with no issues. The only time I had a break was when I crossed chained and applied torque and bent a link. Wears just like all the others. Last a few hundred miles on the trails and needs replacing. I have worn out cassettes before breaking one when used correctly and I climb hard at 180lbs.

This is an awful chain, I bought it three times and everytime it has broken prematurely. I just broke another one today (at <200 miles), and it is the last one I will every buy it. I am going to walk to my finals instead of purchasing another one of these from my LBS.
If you fit into the catagory of needing clips or strong toe straps to put down power, I would avoid this chain even for your cheapest bike.
I've heard wippermans are drastic improvement, my father gets a few thousand miles on road bikes with them.
DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIN.

not a good chain at all next time im going to invest extra money in a diffrent brand of chain and a stronger design, am not happy with the chain since it left me stranded, nobody wants to be stranded with a broken bike chain.
