I really don't know much about chains but this one seems to handle a lot of what I put it through: mud, saltwater, cinder and soft dirt terrain. I think as long as you oil your chain before and after a clean up job, any chain will last...but with the nickel plating on this one, it totally rates #1 in the "Bling" factor.

This chain has lasted so long I can't remember buying it; I've broken and worn out other chains on my other bike but this one is 'ol reliable'. It isn't cheap but you won't be disappointed. If you're still running 8 speed this could be the best chain still available.
