I believe this is a superior ring to the original 32 tooth that came on the crank. I'm getting at least an extra 1000 miles out of these. Cost less and no difference in shifting. Its a no-brainer... Cant speak for the 22's or 44's.
I ride a minimum 3 days a week on a variety of trails primarily in the pacific northwest. I also race several local events including the MTS Relay.
Good at first, not so over time.
Great option to XTR if they get the granny gear fixed. The web form is asking for 20 words. What more can I say about a chain ring that the chain slips off of under pressure when climbing technical features..... when I replaced the rings last time with XTR, I did not have this problem.
Great! I was having chain drop issues with my middle ring when pedaling hard over bumps on my flexy steel 29er frame. This middle ring has slightly deeper troughs and holds the chain on better. Shifts perfectly too. Highly recommended.
