These things do a great job at protecting my SRAM X.0 cranks. I've contacted rocks on nearly every ride since I started riding the CF cranks and hate to imagine what the crank arms would look like without these little bumpers.

Who knew something so simple would be a great idea. I am OCD at protecting my gear and one of my peeves was bashing the pedal end on the SoCal rocks leaving scuffs and dings, well not anymore. I purchased this for all my bikes and don't worry about pedal strikes anymore.

I use these on my SRAM XO cranks and they fit perfectly. They weigh almost nothing and have protected the ends of my crank arms very well. A cheap investment to protect a much more expensive part. Would recommend.

I purchased a set of SRAM X0 2x10 cranks and wanted to protect the tips of the crank arms from getting bashed on rocks and spidering the carbon fiber. I was about to settle on buying the adhesive chain stay protectors and cutting them up to fit the bottom of my crank arm when i found out about Race Face Crank Arm boots. I saw that they were specifically made for their carbon line of cranks but figured for how cheap they were, i couldnt go wrong with trying. I found them for [$] on another website and Jenson was awesome and price matched them! I got them in the mail and tried them on my cranks. They are a PERFECT fit! Its like raceface made them for the SRAM X0 cranks. I am getting a set of SRAM Red cranks in for my road bike and will edit this if they fit the Red cranks as well. A side note, put your pedal spacers on the crank arm, slide the boot over the crank arm (traping the pedal spacer), the install your pedal. This will prevent pinching the boot between the spacer and the crank arm.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
