Upgraded my shifters so I upgraded my cassette. Seeing I don't get out as much, having the 36t is helping me climb some of those hills.

Made minor deraler adjustments to accept the extra gear.

First off, this thing looks great. The 36T sprocket required some derailluer adjusting but the shifts are smooth and the gear ratios are great with my 32 ring up front.

The SLX cassette is only a few grams more than the XT model as it keeps the big gears that count on a spider. While the XT model isn't much more, I doubt you could possibly notice the difference so you can't go wrong with this. It shifts as good as the XT and you know it will last.

Well made, fits well on the freehub. Went on with no alterations. I had to replace the "D" screw on the rear derailleur, to get it to work on the 34 tooth cog. (Dura-Ace long cage rear)
