Needed a 10 speed front deralieur (crankset upgrade, found out that original deralieur was not compatible). Originaly was going to purchase XT but it appeared out of stock and after a monht or so I had to decide for a replacement. Could not find pick any better - at less than half the price it does what it suppoed to. Maybe few grams heavier but I don't care. Possibly samller frames would benefit from low clamp design (to keep wtter bottle mount usable) but my bike is xl no no issue here. SLX is solid choice, looks good as well.
