Lightweight, affordable and durable. They look great too. I ride mostly XC in a dry climate, so not sure how well they do in a wet enviorment. Bottom line...if you need to protect an expensive frame from cable wear and possibly other types of damage, than this is a good place to start.

Works well but won't last forever. They last longer when applied to flatter sections of the frame. Corners and kinks cause bubbles in the sticker which eventually lead to the sticker losing adhesion and coming off

I have a Marin with suspension links always rubbing the cables and I don't know what I would have done without these stickers. They are much more durable than regular tape, but thicker, so it is not as conformable.

These come in a package of about 6 patches. They are clear and barely visible so they don't create an eye sore on your frame. I placed a few on the headtube and seatpost where my brake/derailluer cables were starting to rub the paint off the frame. They do the job nicely and stay put.

this is great to protect your frame against cable rash. easy to apply and hardly know its there. have on all my bikes and works well.

My brake and shifter cables were rubbing off the clear coat on my carbon frame. I wouldn't care if it were aluminum, but you don't really want the carbon to loose the clear coat and become porous.
These little clear decals do the trick of protecting the frame at those key friction points.
The pack even comes with a little alcohol wipe to clean the frame prior to application. So far the decals are staying put and have stopped the wear.
These are functional little problem solvers.
